My story

I’m not a career politician. I’m an engineer and project manager who has spent years making complex systems run more efficiently in a manufacturing environment — including developing products that at first looked impossible to make. Complex problems are not impossible problems; there is always a solution.

I’ve lived here for eight years raising my family. I love the orchards, the lakes, and the sense of paradise that brought us all here. My job will be to protect that character while making sure the basic systems — roads, sewer, water — are planned and funded before they become crises.

I have three daughters born in the Okanagan. This valley is the only home they have ever known — the lakes, the orchards, and the neighbourhoods they are growing up in. I’m the wife of a police officer. Service is not a slogan in our house; it is how we live. Our family was made to serve, and that is the spirit I will bring to the mayor’s chair.

I don’t claim to have every road name memorized. Competence as Mayor isn’t about trivia — it’s about understanding the community’s priorities and having the skills to deliver.

How I lead

Values I will not outsource

Service

Greater is the one who serves others. Public office is a job of stewardship, not status.

Clarity

Residents should be able to follow the money, the timeline, and the reason — without a translator.

Follow-through

Plans don’t count. Finished work counts. I will measure, report, and finish.

Place

The lakes, orchards, and neighbourhoods are why we live here. Growth has to honour that.
